About Us
Barn First is a goat farm and microdairy owned and operated by Merlin Backus and Rebecca Velazquez. Merlin manages their herd of Alpine does, milking 36. Rebecca handcrafts their cheese in small batches. All products are 100% farmstead. Each cheese is given a maiden name from either Merlin or Rebecca's family.
